Wednesday, the US advised Americans to leave the region, and the US State Department has ordered non-emergency government officials to leave Iraq.
Military family members authorized to leave
Most remarkably, perhaps, is that the Pentagon has authorized military family members to leave locations througut the Middle East, a defense official told CBS News.
It is not an order to leave locations, but family members are authorized to leave voluntarily.

The US and Iran are in the middle of talks about Iran’s nuclear program, and the sixth round of talks is still planned to take plays in the coming days.
Trump: “Could be a dangerous place”
Wednesday, President Trump told reporters that Americans were advised to leave the region, as it “could be a dangerous place”, as the President put it.
He did not say anything specific, but added that “we’ll see what happens”.

Wednesday, Iranian Defense Minister, Aziz Nasirzadeh told reporters that if “a conflict is imposed on us (Iran)”, the country would target US bases in host countries.
