What is happening?

The Kremlin has accused European nations of obstructing peace negotiations between the United States and Russia over the war in Ukraine.

Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that a so-called “European party of war” was actively undermining efforts to find a diplomatic solution.

Military campaign will continue

He said forces are capturing 600 to 700 square kilometers per month—nearly double the rate earlier this year.

War shows no signs of slowing down

Despite diplomatic gestures and shifting battle lines, there is little to suggest a ceasefire or lasting peace is on the horizon.
