Moldova's President Maia Sandu has strongly condemned the Russian air attack on Ukraine during the night of March 22.

Sandu voiced her opinion on the Russian airstrikes on her Twitter (X) profile.

"This morning, Russia launched over 90 missiles and 60 Shahed drones across Ukraine, hitting critical infrastructure. Their aggression knows no bounds. Ukraine needs to be provided with whatever it needs so it can resist the invasion and defend peace in Europe," the President stated.

On the night of March 22, the Russian Federation carried out another mass air attack against Ukraine using long-range aircraft. According to The Ukraine Energy Minister, Herman Halushchenko, the attack was aimed at the Ukrainian energy sector and was the largest in recent times.

"The objective extends beyond mere damage; it's an attempt to induce a significant breakdown in our national energy system, similar to last year's events," Halushchenko stated via Facebook.

The attack led to considerable damage across various regions, affecting power generation facilities, as well as electricity transmission and distribution systems.

In this regard, US Ambassador Bridget Brink called for immediate support for Ukraine.
