Russian strikes across multiple Ukrainian regions have reportedly continued despite a temporary three-day ceasefire announced between Moscow and Kyiv.

Regional officials said civilians were killed and injured as drone strikes and shelling continued overnight.
Civilian toll
According to the Kyiv Independent, at least one civilian was killed and 19 others were injured during these Russian attacks.
In Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Governor Ivan Fedorov said one person died and three others, including a child, were wounded following drone and artillery strikes.
Authorities said Russian forces carried out hundreds of attacks across dozens of settlements in the region during the reporting period.
Drone attacks
In Kharkiv, a Russian drone struck a residential building overnight, according to Governor Oleh Syniehubov.
Five people, including two eight-year-old boys, reportedly suffered shock following the attack.
Ukraine’s Air Force stated that all 27 drones launched overnight from Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Millerovo were intercepted.
In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, officials said a three-year-old girl was injured in drone strikes and later hospitalised in moderate condition.
Widespread damage
According to the Kyiv Independent, four people were injured in Donetsk Oblast, where residential buildings, vehicles and commercial property sustained damage.
In Kherson Oblast, seven people, including a child, were wounded in artillery and aerial attacks targeting civilian infrastructure and residential districts.
Officials in Sumy Oblast said a 47-year-old man was injured after a drone struck a car, while homes and infrastructure were also damaged.
Chernihiv Oblast authorities reported dozens of separate strikes involving FPV drones, though no casualties were recorded there.
Ceasefire in doubt
The attacks took place during a declared three-day truce running from May 9 to 11.
US President Donald Trump announced the ceasefire proposal after both Russia and Ukraine submitted separate plans aimed at reducing fighting.
Despite quieter conditions during the opening night of the truce, Ukraine’s General Staff reported 147 combat clashes along the front line over the past day.
