This comes just days before Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump are set to meet in Alaska, raising fresh concerns about its meaning.

Strange Words, Ominous Timing

Recent transmissions included bizarre terms like “schesolub” and “kerner,” as well as the coded message: “NZHTI 12687 TOLKOSRAM 9585 4510.” Experts noticed that these messages are almost identical to those aired in January 2022, just before Russia invaded Ukraine.

What Is UVB-76?

Known colloquially as “The Buzzer,” the station typically emits a constant buzzing sound. Its true purpose is unknown, but theories include it being a “dead man’s switch” to trigger retaliation in the event of a nuclear strike, or a tool for Russian military communication exercises.

Nuclear Warning or Strategic Posturing?

Some believe the reactivation of UVB-76 could signal war games involving Russia’s Strategic Missile Forces or serve as a threat ahead of geopolitical talks.

The reappearance of these codes has triggered comparisons to the period just before Putin’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

The station’s transmitter is believed to be located northwest of Moscow, deep within a Soviet-era military zone.

Its ability to broadcast independently of satellites or the internet gives it an edge during potential wartime scenarios.

Surge in Broadcasts Raises Eyebrows

This June, UVB-76 reportedly sent out as many coded bursts as during the most active periods of the Cold War.

Coincidentally, this surge has aligned with several direct communications between Trump and Putin, heightening speculation.
