A new batch of emails written by Jeffrey Epstein has reignited online debate around the disgraced financier’s past connections.
The correspondence, disclosed this week by Democratic lawmakers, includes several pointed references to US president Donald Trump.
Unsurprisingly, the internet was quick to jump on what was in the new release, and one phrase in particular has become a new staple for Trump’s political opponents.
“Dirty Donald”
In a message from Epstein to former White House Counsel Kathryn Ruemmler, Epstein wrote: “I know how dirty Donald is,” Indy100 reports.
And that line quickly gained traction online.

The political media outlet Meidas Touch shared the excerpt on social media, adding only: “Dirty Donald.”
Other users echoed the phrase, with Democratic strategist Adam Parkhomenko writing: “Every single Democrat should be calling Trump ‘dirty Donald’.”
Malcolm Kenyatta, Dem. Rep. for Pennsylvania’s 181st District, joined in by reposting the email with the same wording.
The group Republicans Against Trump also circulated a video of Trump and Epstein together, captioned: “Dirty Donald.”
What was actually in the emails?
The “dirty Donald” message was just one among a whole batch of documents released on Wednesday.

Across different periods, Epstein brought up Trump multiple times in his private emails.
In one message from 2011 sent to Ghislaine Maxwell, who was later convicted on sex-trafficking charges, Epstein wrote: “I want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is Trump.”
After Donald Trump was sworn in as president for the first time in 2017, Epstein described Trump as “evil beyond belief” in a message to then-NYT journalist Landon Thomas Jr. in 2018.
He wrote: “He feels alone and is nuts!!! I told everyone from day one. Evil beyond belief. Mad, and most thought I was speaking metaphorically. It’s obvious he could crack. Stormy Daniels? Lies after lies after lies.”
The White House: “It’s a hoax”
The release of the new batch of files is another chapter in the ongoing Epstein–Trump saga, where Trump is under increased pressure from both political opponents and allies to release the full Epstein investigation — something he promised to do before taking office again.

The Democrats have continued to pressure Trump, and former victims of Epstein have also urged him to release the full investigation.
This week’s publication prompted the Trump administration’s press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, to once again describe the revelations as a Democratic “hoax.”
After being sworn in as president again, Trump backed down on his promise to release the full Epstein probe, changing the narrative and continuously dismissing the matter as a “hoax” while denying any misconduct linked to Epstein.
