Queenzy Cheng, a former singer with the music group M-Girls and an actress, has tragically passed away at the age of 37.

The Malaysian pop star's sudden death occurred during a social media content recording session, according to China Press

During the filming, Cheng suddenly began to feel unwell, experiencing dizziness, nausea, and headaches, which led to vomiting.

She then suffered intense heart palpitations and breathing difficulties, prompting an emergency call for an ambulance.

According to reports from the Chinese newspaper China Press, Cheng collapsed, and her lips, hands, and feet turned purple. The ambulance arrived within five minutes, but it was too late to save her. She succumbed to a cerebral hemorrhage.

The loss of Queenzy Cheng deeply affected her colleagues and close acquaintances. Members of M-Girls expressed their grief and shock on social media.

Angeline Khoo, a member of M-Girls, shared in a group post, "I never imagined it would end this way. It feels unreal. I still can't accept it." The group members recalled their beautiful memories with Cheng, hugging and crying till their eyes swelled.

M-Girls, which started in 2000 and was active until 2017, saw its members pursue individual paths after disbanding. Cheng was not only renowned in East Asia for her Chinese New Year songs but also worked as an actress.

The sudden passing of Queenzy Cheng at just 37 years old has left a void in the music and entertainment industry.
