Donald Trump has annouces a 100 % tariff on foreign movies entering the US, stating on Truth Social that “the movie indrustry in America is dying a very fast death”.

Streaming giants plummet

The newly announced tariffs haven’t been explained in details, meaning it’s not known how the tariffs will work and if it will hit movies made by streaming services. Never the less, streaming giants plummet in pre-market.

Before the opening of the stock market on Wall Street, Netflix is set to drop 5.5 %.

Warner Bros./Discovery

Warner Bros./Discovery are looking at a 4.33 % drop.

Disney

And The Walt Disney stock is looking at a 3 % drop.
