It’s safe to say that the US President is not happy.

What is happening?

During the night, Donald Trump announced that a ceasefire between Israel and Iran was agreed, and that it would go into effect on Tuesday morning CET.

Is the ceasefire broken?

It took only three hours before Israel accused Iran of firing missiles against Israel.

In response, Israel ordered massive airstrikes targeting Iran.

Trump trying to stop Israel

In a post on Truth Social, Donald Trump borderline ordered Israel to not go through with the attack plans:

“ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!”

He ended the post with “Donald J. Trump, President of the United States”.

Both sides at fault, Trump says

Talking to reporters outside The White House before heading to the NATO summit in Europe, Trump said that both Israel and Iran was at fault for violating the ceasefire.

Israel has to “calm down”

He further said that he “gotta get Israel to calm down”.

“Israel, as soon as we made the deal, they came out and they dropped a load of bombs, the likes of which I’ve never seen before, the biggest load that we’ve seen,” he said according to Reuters.

Unhappy with both, but Israel in particular

Trump was clearly agitated about the ceasefire being broken, and he seemed especially unhappy with Israel.

He said that Israel “unloaded” after a single rocket (fired from Iran), that didn’t even land – and that might have been fired by accident.

“They don’t know what the f*** they’re doing!”

Before leaving the reporters, the President even dropped an f-bomb:

“We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard, that they don’t know that the f*** they’re doing, do you understand that?”

The President then headed for his helicopter.
