Trump Mobile’s long-delayed T1 smartphone has reportedly gone through another redesign.

Trump Mobile’s long-delayed T1 smartphone has reportedly gone through another redesign.

Questions also continue to surround the project’s launch timeline and manufacturing plans, with the device changing appearance several times since it was first announced.

New design emerges

According to CNET, the latest version of the T1 phone shown on Trump Mobile’s website features a noticeably different design from earlier models displayed publicly.

One of the biggest changes appears to be the camera layout, which no longer matches the version executives previously showed to reporters earlier this year.

The redesign marks at least the third major visual update tied to the smartphone.

Launch delays pile up

The T1 was originally expected to launch in 2025 alongside Trump Mobile’s wireless plans.

However, multiple reported release windows have now passed without an official rollout or confirmed shipping date.

Despite the delays, the company is still accepting $100 deposits for the device, which remains listed online for a promotional price of $499.

Manufacturing claims questioned

Trump Mobile initially promoted the phone as being made in the United States.

Those claims later disappeared from marketing material after questions emerged over whether large-scale smartphone production in the US was realistic.

The company now describes the device as being “designed with American values in mind” rather than explicitly manufactured domestically.

Certifications move forward

The Verge recently reported that the T1 phone appears to have received PTCRB certification, which confirms compatibility with mobile carrier networks.

FCC filings linked to the project also reportedly reference a company associated with Trump Mobile executives.

The phone is expected to include Android software, a Snapdragon processor, AI face unlock and multiple rear cameras.

Mystery still surrounds project

Executives previously told The Verge that final assembly would happen in Florida while much of the production would take place in a “favored nation.”

However, details surrounding suppliers, manufacturing partners and the final release schedule remain unclear.

CNET reported that Trump Mobile has not responded to repeated requests for clarification in recent months.

What comes next

The company continues promoting the T1 smartphone as part of its broader wireless business despite the ongoing delays and redesigns.

Whether the phone eventually launches as originally planned remains uncertain as speculation around the project continues to grow.
