Donald Trump is actively promoting merchandise for a potential third term in the White House. He is currently selling hats with a new slogan highlighting a future run, according to Newsner.
But one prominent political veteran believes the current commander-in-chief will not finish his present term.
Longtime Democratic strategist James Carville shared a shocking theory during an episode of the podcast Politics War Room. He insists the president will completely abandon his post long before his time officially expires.
Bored with power
Carville believes a massive political wave is building against the current administration, noting that voters are preparing a harsh reality check.
“Trump has no earthly idea of what’s coming. They’re not telling him. The vote against him in November is going to be, like, breathtaking,” Carville explained.
The veteran strategist argues that disruptions and sheer exhaustion will force the leader to quit because the daily routine has already become unappealing.
“He’s already bored,” Carville stated. “He can’t stay awake. He says he’s bored with the Iran war.”
Setting a timeline
Co-host Al Hunt dismissed theories that the president secretly wants to lose upcoming midterms to act like an outsider. Hunt argued the White House is desperate to block congressional oversight.
“He is petrified of losing these midterms,” Hunt noted. “And when they investigate him, and they have the power of subpoena, you know what? He’s done an awful lot of bad things.”
Carville previously suggested a quick resignation could allow Vice President JD Vance to assume office and issue a pardon. This time, he doubled down on a specific expiration date.
“He’s obviously not well. He sleeps all the time, slobbers all over himself or whatever,” Carville claimed, according to Newsner. “I’m sticking by my thing, he won’t last past Easter 2027.”
White House response
The administration wasted no time firing back. White House spokesman Davis Ingle quickly issued a fierce response to Fox News regarding the claims.
The official statement completely dismissed the strategist’s mental sharpness, using highly personal insults rather than addressing the timeline.
“James Carville is a stone-cold loser who suffers from a severe and incurable disease known as Trump Derangement Syndrome, and it has rotted his peanut-sized brain,” Ingle stated.
