U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Wednesday, June 25, during the NATO summit in The Hague.
The information was shared by a White House official who spoke on condition of anonymity, according to Politico.
This will be the first meeting between the two leaders since April, when they briefly met at the funeral of Pope Francis at St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City. That encounter followed a reported disagreement during an earlier meeting at the White House in February.
Their upcoming discussion is expected to take place on the sidelines of the broader NATO summit, which gathers alliance leaders to focus on key defense and security issues.
