Trump Mobile says its long-delayed T1 smartphone will finally begin shipping this week after repeated setbacks pushed back the launch several times.

The gold-colored device was originally expected to arrive months ago, but questions around production and manufacturing delays fueled growing skepticism online.

Shipping finally begins

According to Naples Daily News and USA TODAY, Trump Mobile confirmed that pre-ordered T1 phones will start being delivered to customers this week.

The smartphone was initially scheduled for release in August before later being delayed to October and then postponed again.

Trump Mobile CEO Pat O’Brien told the outlet the company experienced multiple production delays while trying to complete the device.

‘Made in America’ plans changed

The company originally promoted the phone as being made in the United States.

However, Trump Mobile later adjusted its messaging, with its website now describing the device as being “designed with American values in mind.”

O’Brien said the first phones were assembled in the US, while future models are expected to rely mainly on American-made components.

Questions surrounded the project

The delays triggered growing speculation online about whether the phone would ever actually launch.

Some customers reportedly complained on social media that they had not received updates about their pre-orders.

Trump Mobile denied rumors that the project had stalled permanently and said demand for both the phone and its mobile service had been strong.

Gold phone targets supporters

The T1 phone features a gold-colored design, Android operating system and a triple-camera setup.

According to the company website, the device includes a 6.78-inch screen, fingerprint sensor and AI facial recognition features.

Trump Mobile is also offering a “47 Plan” mobile package priced at $47.45 per month, referencing Donald Trump’s presidential terms.

Trump brand expands further

The launch marks another expansion of Trump-branded products tied to Donald Trump and the Trump Organization.

The company has promoted the phone and mobile service as part of a broader “America First” business strategy aimed at conservative consumers.

Industry analysts say the smartphone market remains highly competitive, especially as Apple, Samsung and Chinese manufacturers continue dominating global sales.
