A 4-year-old girl has taken the internet by storm with her extraordinary language skills. Bella Devyatkina from Russia is no ordinary child, as reported by the Dagens.se.
While some children learn to speak quickly, others take several years to get started. By the end of elementary school, most children can speak more than one language, but usually only two or three.
Bella Devyatkina recently participated in a Russian talent show where she told the judges that she could speak seven languages fluently.
In addition to her native Russian, Bella claimed she could also speak English, German, Spanish, French, Chinese, and Arabic. To test her abilities, representatives for all six languages conversed with her and asked her questions.
It didn't take long for both the judges and the audience to drop their jaws—and their ears—when it became clear that Bella was telling the truth. What's even more impressive is that Bella Devyatkina not only understands seven languages but can also converse and have discussions with others on stage.
One can only wonder how many languages this young girl will master throughout her life.
