Reports suggest that Iran has carried out key nuclear tests ever since the October 7 massacre.
What is happening?

Iran and Israel continues to exchange fire, now on the sixth day of the conflict after a surprise attack by Israel Friday morning last week saw several of Iran’s nuclear sites reduced to rubble as well as several high ranking commanders killed.

Fighting begins

In a post on X, Ayatollah Khamenei, wrote that “the fighting begins”.
He added in another post that:
“We must give a strong response to the terrorist Zionist regime. We will show the Zionists no mercy.”
The Iranian nuclear programme

For decades, Iran has conitnued to develop it’s nuclear programme.
The leaders of Iran maintains that the nuclear programme is solely for domestic and energy purposes, but fear is that Iran is actually en route to develop nuclear weapons.
So, do Iran actually have nukes?

Whether Iran is actually in possession of nuclear weapons is a matter of speculation.
Israel say that intelligence suggest, Iran has enough enriched Uranium to produce a double digit number of nuclear weapons in a matter of days.
What analysts say

According to the US organisation Council on Foreign Relations, Western analysts do not yet suspect Iran to be in possession of a nuclear weapon.
Could produce it in “fairly short order”

That being said, the analysts also warn that Iran has the infrastructure and knowledge to produce a nuclear weapon in “fairly short order”.
What “farily short order” means in regard to the production being days or weeks, it’s now been almost a week since Israel launched it’s attack on Iran, giving the Iranian leaders time to start production, should they wish to do so.
US intelligence: Years away from nukes

According to CNN, US intelligence has come to a very different conclusion than the Israeli.
In fact, US intelligence suggest that it would take Iran up to three years from even being able to produce and deliver a nuclear weapon to a target of it’s choosing.
Report: Iran has carried out key nuke test

Before launching the attack Friday, Israel had allegedly discovered that Iran’s scientists had conducted successful experiments in the design process of a nuclear weapon since the October 7 Massacre in 2023.
“He is an easy target”

In a post on Truth Social released during the night, Trump started out by saying that “we know excacly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding,” adding that Khamenei is an easy target, but that he’s safe there.
Not killing him – now

The next part of the post included the very clear threat:
“We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now. But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers.”
Patience wearing thin

Trump went on to say that the US patience with Iran is “wearing thin”. It’s unclear excacly what Trump is referring too, but it’s most likely the negotiations between the US and Iran regering the Iranian nuclear programme, that has been going on for months.
Wants “unconditional surrender”

In another post on Truth Social, released just three minutes after the previous one, Trump simply posted: “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!”
