A Radioactive Tsunami

A top Russian propagandist has warned that the US could be wiped off the map by a nuclear-powered “radioactive tsunami.”

The threat was made during a fiery TV segment by Vladimir Solovyov, a notorious Putin ally, as tensions between Moscow and the West soar to new heights.

Rages on Russian State TV

Solovyov erupted on air, mocking new US sanctions and warning of Russia’s Poseidon nuclear torpedoes.

“It’s not spelled out anywhere on the Senate sanctions list?” he sneered.

“No? Well that’s right.” He then threatened: “Radioactive tsunamis that will blow the entire continental United States of America to hell.”

Russia’s Doomsday Weapon Surfaces Again

Solovyov was referencing Russia’s Poseidon torpedo, a nuclear-armed, submarine-launched weapon that strategic experts say could cause catastrophic radioactive flooding along coastal areas.

First revealed in 2023, Poseidon is designed to bypass traditional missile defense systems and could be deployed by 2027.

Putin’s Nuclear Rhetoric Hits Fever Pitch

Throughout the Ukraine conflict, Putin and his inner circle have leaned heavily on nuclear threats to rattle the West.

From chilling speeches to theatrical TV stunts, the Kremlin has pushed the narrative that any Western intervention could trigger World War 3.

‘Why Do We Need a World Without Russia?’

Solovyov echoed a chilling line often used by Putin himself:

“There should be no illusions. You want to destroy Russia? I’ll remind you, why do we need a world if Russia is not in it?”

It’s a rhetorical weapon Russia uses to frame its survival as a global issue, and justify extreme retaliation.

Sanctions Set the Kremlin Off Again

The outburst came after US lawmakers advanced new sanctions against Russia, including massive tariffs on imports from nations still buying Russian oil, gas, or uranium.

The Kremlin views these economic measures as acts of war and is clearly using media threats to push back.

US and UK Named as Top Targets for Russian Nukes

The US isn’t alone. Russian state media has also named the UK as a primary target in the event of nuclear war.

A separate broadcast earlier this month described London as “target number one” should World War 3 break out, stoking fears across Europe.

Solovyov’s Meltdown Tied to US Senate Pressure

The timing of the broadcast aligns with Senator Lindsey Graham’s push for “bone-crushing” sanctions.

The proposed legislation would impose up to 500% tariffs and attempt to isolate Russia’s economy until a ceasefire is reached in Ukraine.

Propaganda or Pretext? The Line Blurs in Russia

Analysts say Solovyov’s show functions as both Kremlin propaganda and policy testing ground, floating extreme ideas to gauge reaction.

While some dismiss it as theatrics, others worry it’s a signal that Russia is preparing its population for darker scenarios.
