On the eve of Russia’s Victory Day, a chilling state media broadcast from Moscow launched a venomous tirade at the United Kingdom.

Led by Vladimir Putin’s trusted TV host Vladimir Solovyov and former Ukrainian MP Igor Markov, the show descended into open threats of annihilation.

The UK was accused of “waging war” through Ukraine, and British citizens were warned to “leave the country within 24 hours” or face nuclear consequences.

Brands UK “Nation of Freaks and Degenerates”

Igor Markov opened the segment with a grotesque personal attack on the British public, calling the UK a “nation of freaks.”

He mocked their appearance, intelligence, and values in what appeared to be a carefully orchestrated smear campaign aimed at vilifying Western opposition to Russia’s war in Ukraine.

“Learn to Breathe Underwater or Leave”

Solovyov took the hostility further, referencing Russia’s Poseidon nuclear drone. He warned Britons they had “24 hours” to leave their homeland, or “learn to breathe underwater.”

Poseidon, one of Putin’s so-called “superweapons,” is said to trigger radioactive tsunamis capable of wiping out coastal cities.

The Proxy War Accusation

Markov claimed Britain is directly responsible for the war in Ukraine, accusing the UK of supplying drones and coordinating attacks.

“Britain is waging war against us,” he said. “Ukraine is just the proxy.”

The comments echo Russia’s wider narrative that NATO countries are de facto participants in the conflict.

Hypersonic Missiles and “Revenge Colonies”

In a bizarre tangent, Markov proposed arming a former British colony with hypersonic missiles to take “revenge” on the UK for historical colonialism.

His rant included calls to target British ports, submarines, and ships in an apparent fantasy of global retribution.

Victory Day Overshadowed by Rage and Paranoia

Victory Day, meant to commemorate the Soviet triumph in World War II, has in recent years morphed into a platform for Russia’s most aggressive rhetoric.

Despite Putin’s announcement of a temporary ceasefire for Orthodox Easter, the tone of this broadcast was one of unrelenting hostility.

Putin’s Superweapon: The Poseidon Drone

The Poseidon underwater drone loomed large in the broadcast. Designed to detonate near coastlines, it could unleash tsunamis and radioactive fallout.

Solovyov has repeatedly invoked Poseidon in threats against the West, especially the UK, and did so again with chilling bravado.

No Cities Left: Ukraine Also Threatened

The broadcast didn’t stop at Britain. Solovyov warned that Ukraine’s largest cities, Kyiv and Lviv, would be “wiped off the map” and later “rebuilt.”

He urged civilians to evacuate, suggesting that a new wave of escalation may be imminent following Russia’s VE Day parade.

The Real Strategy: Intimidation as Propaganda

While most analysts believe a nuclear strike remains unlikely, the rhetoric is part of a strategy: sowing fear, chaos, and division in Western societies.

These televised outbursts are as much for foreign consumption as they are for galvanizing domestic support for a faltering war.
