Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has once again stirred up conversation.

A recent workout video, posted to X, showed the 71-year-old performing chin-ups and push-ups in a pair of jeans and a belt, prompting a wave of social media chatter and speculation.

“Make America Healthy Again”

Filmed at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, the clip was part of the Trump administration’s “Make America Healthy Again” initiative.

RFK Jr. posted: “I teamed up with @SecDef Hegseth for the ‘Pete & Bobby Challenge’ — 50 pull-ups, 100 push-ups. This is the start of a nationwide push to get Americans fit again. We’re calling on our friend @SecDuffy to take the challenge.”

The Internet Has Questions

Social media was quick to react.

“Why is RFK Jr doing pull-ups and push-ups in jeans?” one user asked.

Another user quipped, “RFK, Jr. working out in jeans and a belt is absolutely diabolical.”

The confusion was strong enough to prompt Fox News host Jesse Watters to ask RFK Jr. directly during an interview: “Why do you wear jeans when you work out?”

RFK Jr. Responds

RFK Jr. gave a simple explanation: “Well, I just started doing that a long time ago because I would go hiking in the morning and then go straight to the gym and I found it was convenient. And now I’m used to it, so I just do it.”

Watters accepted the answer, saying, “Okay. There are a lot of theories but that makes perfect sense.”

Outperforming in Denim

Despite the wardrobe choice, RFK Jr. showed no signs of slowing down.
