The South-East Police in Norway announced their response to the incident at 10:28 AM, following reports that two minors had been injured in a ski lift accident. As of now, the extent of the injuries and the circumstances of the incident remain unclear.

The incident has been reported to the police, the Railway Authority, and the Accident Investigation Board. Consequently, the ski lift has been shut down due to the incident, confirmed Andreas Smith-Erichsen, the CEO of Skistar, to Hallingdølen.

Trond Egil Grot, the operational leader, informed VG, a Norwegian newspaper, that they received notification of the incident at 10:00 AM(Local time). As of 10:32 AM, police had not yet arrived at the scene, and no further details were available at that time.
