During a conversation with his son Eric, the president admits a personal concern.

Donald Trump’s age unexpectedly became part of the conversation during a golf outing this week after a lip reader claimed the president privately admitted feeling older following a remark from one of his sons.

Footage from the LIV Golf event at Trump National Golf Club in Washington quickly spread online — not only because of the alleged conversation, but also because social media users suddenly began debating the president’s height as well.

Lip reader claims Trump discussed turning 80

According to professional lip reader Nicola Hickling who spoke to the British media Mirror, Trump appeared to discuss his upcoming 80th birthday while standing beside his son Eric Trump behind bulletproof glass at the tournament.

Hickling claimed the president referenced a recent conversation involving one of his sons.

“Yes, we were talking and he said, ‘Dad, you know you’re going to be 80 years old.’ After he said this, I felt old,” Trump allegedly said, according to the lip reader.

Moments later, Hickling claimed Trump tried to brush off the subject with another remark directed toward Eric.

“You’re only as old as you feel, right?” Trump allegedly added while gesturing toward his son.

Height debate suddenly explodes online

Attention surrounding the event quickly shifted after viewers noticed Eric Trump appeared visibly taller than the president during parts of the appearance.

Eric Trump is publicly listed at slightly above 6-foot-4, while Donald Trump’s official height has long been reported at roughly 6-foot-3.

Several social media users argued the visual difference between the two looked far greater than expected.

Online commentators soon flooded platforms with jokes and speculation questioning whether Trump’s publicly listed height is accurate.

Fresh scrutiny surrounding Trump’s age

Questions surrounding Trump’s physical condition and age have become increasingly common during his second presidency.

The president turns 80 next year and remains the oldest person ever to serve in the White House.

Recent months have already seen growing online discussion tied to bruising on Trump’s hands, swelling around his ankles and moments during public appearances where critics claimed he appeared fatigued.

Trump has repeatedly defended both his health and cognitive abilities, insisting earlier this year that he passed multiple mental evaluations with top marks.

Despite that, even casual public appearances now regularly trigger widespread debate online about the president’s stamina, appearance and overall condition.
