High-pressure jobs naturally take a toll on the human body over time.
When a leader holds absolute power, any slight physical stumble or mumbled word instantly sparks a firestorm of global speculation.
And right now, the spotlight is burning incredibly bright on Moscow.
Slurring his words
During a recent Kremlin ceremony, Vladimir Putin attempted to lead a cheer for frontline fighters. He asked the crowd to deliver three loud hurrahs.
Instead, the aging leader stumbled through the delivery, according to The Express. He visibly slurred the word, blurting out a confusing sound that state television hastily edited out of its broadcast.
The embarrassing moment immediately caught the attention of his biggest rival. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky seized on the vocal slip to mock the Russian ruler.
Zelensky pointed out a grim contrast. He stated, “Putin can’t even pronounce the word ‘hurrah’ clearly anymore, slurs and mumbles, yet he is still vanquishing residential buildings with his missiles.”
Tremors and rage
A former insider believes the physical decline started years ago. Abbas Gallyamov once worked as a speechwriter for the Kremlin before becoming a vocal political commentator.
He recently told Anyway News that he spotted troubling signs back in 2022. According to Gallyamov, the Russian leader began suffering from noticeable hand and leg tremors shortly after the invasion stalled.
The former aide suspects a serious medical event occurred behind closed doors. He explained, “I remember from my father that this is one of the consequences of a stroke.”
Gallyamov added that severe psychological stress is likely accelerating the physical decay. He claimed the dictator is completely consumed by his military failures, saying, “He’s filled with anger, he’s seething with hatred, literally rage, right?”
A shaky future
Observers also noted recent awkward movements during an international trip. When arriving at a major summit in Beijing, Putin appeared to shuffle forward with a heavily stooped posture to greet Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
Gallyamov warned that a sudden health collapse could happen at any moment. He suggested that ordinary citizens are finally starting to realize the grim reality of the situation.
According to the ex-aide, the ruler is losing his grip on public perception. He said, “In the eyes of the majority of Russians, he’s increasingly turning into some kind of clown.”
If the Russian president suddenly steps down, the constitution hands temporary power to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. Experts predict a fierce internal battle for the crown would quickly follow.
