No, you’re not hallucinating. An AI-generated video is currently tearing across social media featuring Donald Trump as a bald eagle, dispatching a heavily armed Jake and Logan Paul to fight an army of Canadian beavers over rising trade prices.
The most untrustworthy part of the video is almost “Trump” using less than three exclamation marks when typing.
The synthetic rock soundtrack backing the clip isn’t even trying to hide the joke: “Send in Jake and Logan Paul / Muscles built to save us all / ‘Merica’s heroes making history / hell yeah we’re living in an idiocracy!”
It looks like bottom-tier internet noise, but the video is a surprisingly direct byproduct of this month’s political news cycle.
It smashes together two very real, very bizarre headlines, turning Washington’s current policy moves into pure digital satire.
The Pentagon and the beavers
To understand why this specific fever dream exists, you have to look at the news cycle it is mocking.
First, there is the ongoing US-Canada tariff fight. In late August, the US slapped a 50 percent tariff on a broad range of Canadian imports, prompting Canada to retaliate with matching counter-tariffs that took effect on September 8.
The multi-billion-dollar trade dispute immediately spawned a cottage industry of viral AI parody videos featuring weaponized Canadian wildlife fighting back against American economic policy.
Second, the clip is satirizing an actual event in Washington. As Military.com reported, Jake and Logan Paul were invited into the Pentagon on September 17.
The influencer brothers met with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, toured the 9/11 memorial, and addressed troops directly from the official Department of Defense press briefing podium—a move that drew sharp criticism from military veterans and commentators.
The video simply takes those two real events and runs them through a consumer AI generator.
