The billionaire donor says America dies unless voters makes sure Republicans control the Senate.

Elon Musk took to social media on Thursday with a dire forecast about the 2028 elections unless voters support the Republican Party.

If Democrats sweep the presidency and Congress, the billionaire warned, the result would be “game over for America.”

Doomsday warning

Writing on social media, Musk gave his apocalyptic vision of the potential future.

He claimed total Democratic victories would bring statehood for Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C., an expanded Supreme Court, and open borders. As Musk put it, “This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.”

To stop that outcome, he urged followers to prioritize the upcoming November 3 midterms. “All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one,” Musk added.

Musk is the largest GOP donor

Musk is putting his money where his Twitter-fingers are. He has poured a record-shattering amount of political cash across the country.

Campaign records show he has spent more than $442 million on conservative candidates, making him the biggest individual political donor in American history, according to The Economic Times.

The Hill reported that Musk pumped an extra $76.8 million into his America PAC over the past month. In addition, CBS News revealed that he gave $158 million in September to the Senate Leadership Fund, which helped fund Republican Ken Paxton in Texas.

For context, Musk spent more than $250 million during the 2024 presidential race, but a public spat with Donald Trump last year left his future role uncertain.

Elon Musk is all in.
