FBI agents are afraid of what their boss Kash Patel and the head of the DOJ might order them to do on election night.

One of the more underrated parts of these upcoming midterm elections is the fact that no one knows how Donald Trump is going to react to the results.

We all remember what happened when he lost the presidential election in 2020, and he still refuses to acknowledge the results while illegally trying to overturn the results.

Now, some Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents are sounding the alarm over orders they may recieve from the White House ahead of the midterm elections on Tuesday.

Fears of unlawful directives

There is anxiety spreading through the ranks of the FBI. According to MS NOW, seven insiders say several FBI agents fear they could be ordered to seize voting machines or disrupt voting operations under the guise of fraud investigations.

The concern follows aggressive White House changes to local election processes. “I’m worried about that situation for sure,” a current FBI official said. “We have all the evidence we need to expect at least one U.S. attorney and one FBI agent to be willing to sign on to such actions, such as [those in] Georgia and Arizona.”

Earlier this year, federal agents seized local ballots in Fulton County, Georgia, based on debunked fraud claims, and later took voting equipment in Arizona. In Atlanta, two FBI analysts were fired after refusing to participate in the Georgia scheme.

Preparing for chaos

Now, election administrators across the country are scrambling to protect the vote. Local officials have spent months gaming out different scenarios, preparing mobile voting tech gear in case polling stations get raided or local voting directors get detained.

Former supervisory agent Rob D’Amico told MS NOW that resisting questionable orders will take serious guts from the agents.

“The Fulton County, Georgia, search warrant demonstrated how people who questioned such moves will be removed, and so many have already,” D’Amico said. “It is going to take people of high moral character to hold the line between doing what they’re told and doing what is right and lawful.”

Federal law prohibits armed agents at polling places under an 1865 statute. Even so, Attorney General Todd Blanche and FBI Director Kash Patel have refused to rule out sending officers to voting sites.

Even Trump has been coy about accepting the midterm results, saying he will only accept the results “if they’re honest elections.”
