How It Works
TikTok user @techiedani demonstrated plugging the Escalade IQ into a Supercharger using an included CCS-to-NACS adapter. GM ships the adapter with new Escalades since the SUV still uses a CCS port.
The Process
After plugging in, she opened the Cadillac app, selected the charging stall, and activated the session. Charging began in under a minute.
Charging Speed
At 55% battery, the Escalade was pulling 185 kW from the charger. Within moments, it jumped to 58% — equal to about 263 miles of range.
Time to 100%
The Cadillac app showed it would take another hour and 10 minutes to reach a full charge, though most EV drivers rarely charge all the way to 100%.
