Accidents happen to the best of us. Whether you don't see the lamp post while reversing or return to the parking lot to find someone has dinged your car door, dents in your car are almost inevitable.

However, with this simple trick, you don't have to empty your wallet every time misfortune strikes.

The simple solution

All you need is a hairdryer, canned compressed air, 20 seconds of your time, and an annoying dent in your car.

First, heat the dent thoroughly with the hairdryer. Then, blast it with the cold air from the compressed air can.

This causes the metal to expand and, with a small pop, it snaps back into place.

By using this method, you can avoid costly trips to the repair shop and keep your car looking as good as new without breaking the bank.
