According to Motor1, the Lexus RX finished 2025 as the best-selling luxury car, reaching 52,888 units.
Despite not being the newest model in its class, it maintained strong demand thanks to its balance of comfort, reliability and multiple powertrain options.

The Lexus NX secured second place with 38,253 units sold, reinforcing Lexus’ dominance in the segment.
BMW’s X5 followed in third with 33,588 units, while Mercedes-Benz models like the GLE and GLC remained close contenders, each with just under 30,000 units.
The relatively small gaps between these models highlight how competitive the premium market remained throughout the year.
Mixed performance
Not all models saw the same momentum.
The Cadillac Escalade recorded a strong increase in sales following updates, while the Buick Envision also saw a noticeable boost.
