Sources close to the 60-year-old actor claim he believes Jolie is deliberately turning the children—especially Maddox and Pax—against him.
A Painful Rift with Pax
It is particularly his relationship with Pax, now in his early twenties, that has reportedly caused Brad the most heartache.
On a past Father’s Day, multiple media outlets noted that Pax shared a harsh message on social media, allegedly calling his father a “world-class f******” and accusing him of being “a terrible and unsympathetic person.”
Since then, Brad has made attempts to repair the relationship, but sources say he has now lost hope of reconciliation.
He has reportedly come to accept that the children no longer wish to have contact with him—and it hurts deeply.
“He has told friends that Angelina has been poisoning the children against him for years, making them see him as a monster,” says one insider.
Feeling Let Down and Alone
According to the same source, Pitt is devastated that his children appear to have embraced a version of him he believes Jolie has crafted.
Despite trying everything—conversations, therapy, invitations—nothing has worked.
He is left feeling like a father who has been abandoned, isolated, and heartbroken.
The root of the feud reportedly stems from a dramatic incident aboard a private jet in 2016, shortly before the couple’s divorce. Legal documents that later surfaced during the court battle over their shared winery in southern France included allegations from Jolie that Pitt was physically aggressive on the flight.
The documents claim that he grabbed her by the head and shook her, and was also physical with two of their children.
Pitt has strongly denied the allegations, and the incident has been central to years of legal battles between the two.
For Pitt—who, according to friends, never imagined his family would fracture like this—the situation is both painful and incomprehensible. He expected the breakup with Jolie to be complicated, but he never believed it would cost him his relationship with his children.
A source recently claimed that Brad now sees his bond with Pax as “irreparable”, and that he has emotionally distanced himself from his son.
