Miley Cyrus reveals the pivotal moment she knew her marriage to Liam Hemsworth was doomed
Miley Cyrus, the 30-year-old pop sensation, has been candid about her past relationships while promoting her new song ‘Used to Be Young’ on TikTok.
She recently disclosed the exact moment she realized her marriage to actor Liam Hemsworth was beyond repair.
According to Cyrus, it was during her performance at Glastonbury 2019 that she decided the relationship was no longer sustainable for her.
The couple first crossed paths in 2009 on the set of the movie ‘The Last Song.’ Their relationship had its ups and downs but seemed to stabilize when Hemsworth proposed in 2012. However, the marriage eventually ended in divorce in 2020.
Cyrus revealed that she had known the marriage was over a year before the official split. She emphasized that her career and performance persona took precedence at that time, a priority she now questions.
Months after the divorce, Cyrus expressed on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast that the hardest part wasn’t falling out of love but the negative media portrayal that followed.
