On 19 August, Spears took to her Instagram to share her feelings on the matter. Alongside a video of her dancing, she wrote about the pain of the breakup and expressed gratitude for the supportive messages she's received from friends. Spears emphasized the challenges she's faced, mentioning the pressures of appearing strong and the lack of unconditional love she felt from her family.
She concluded her post on a positive note, urging her followers to remember to smile and stating that she's doing well despite the circumstances. Spears had previously shared a post of her horse riding, hinting at her intention to purchase a horse soon, without directly addressing the divorce.
The last photo of the couple together was shared by Spears on 22 June, where they were seen smiling back to back. Asghari had also celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary earlier that month by sharing unseen footage from their 2022 wedding.
