Shoppers are being urged to check their pantries after Aldi issued a recall on a widely sold dinner kit due to an undeclared allergen.
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Casa Mamita Soft Taco Dinner Kit is being recalled after it was found to contain milk, which is not listed on the packaging.
The affected kits are packaged in a blue and yellow box with UPC code 4099100318715, lot code 25259, and a best-by date of MAR 15 26.

More kits affected beyond Aldi
In addition to the Aldi recall, a Crunchy Taco Dinner Kit sold at Martin’s and Giant stores is also being pulled from shelves for the same undeclared milk issue.

The manufacturer, Teasdale Foods, Inc., confirmed the allergen was not properly disclosed on the label.
