Chelsea Robinson, a 29-year-old influencer and lingerie model from the UK, says her pursuit of the perfect body nearly broke her — physically, emotionally, and financially.
In an appearance on ITV’s Olivia Attwood: The Price of Perfection, Chelsea shared that her butt implants “fell out” after a gym session, setting off a years-long ordeal that cost her more than $85,000 in corrective surgery.
“I Felt Something Come Out”
Back in 2019, Chelsea traveled to the Dominican Republic for what she believed would be a safe and affordable butt augmentation surgery.
The country is a well-known destination for cosmetic tourism, particularly for procedures promising dramatic curves at cut-rate prices.
But just weeks after returning to the UK, something went horribly wrong.

“I went to the gym not long after I got back,” she said during the ITV interview. “I was squatting when my leg suddenly went all tingly… and I felt something come out. My implant was hanging.”
The implant had dislodged and slipped out from under the muscle, a serious medical complication that required urgent correction.
A $135,000 Price Tag — and Counting
To fix the damage, Chelsea had to undergo additional surgeries and extended medical care, ultimately spending more than $85,000 on the fallout alone.
“If I knew all the ins and outs, I would have never got the bum implants,” she said. “That was the worst journey I’ve ever been through. It wasn’t worth it. It was horrendous.”
But that wasn’t her only experience with cosmetic surgery.

Over the past 11 years, she’s had four breast augmentation procedures, beginning at age 18 and totaling nearly $10,000 just on her chest.
“I kind of fell into lingerie modelling, but I felt like I couldn’t compete,” Chelsea admitted. “I had an A-cup. No boobs, no bum. I wanted to look like everyone else.”
Now, she estimates she’s spent over $135,000 on cosmetic procedures, a mix of enhancements and emergency corrections.
“It’s Almost Like an Adrenaline Rush”
While reflecting on her transformation during the program, Chelsea became emotional looking at old photos of herself.
“I look so ugly there,” she said through tears. “There’s just no definition. No boobs, no bum.”

But beyond the physical changes, she acknowledged the deeper issues that drove her to surgery in the first place. The relentless pressure to look a certain way — particularly in the modeling and influencer world — had taken a toll.
“There’s always something else you need or want, something that could make you look better,” she said. “It’s almost like an adrenaline rush. And I feel like that’s what you end up chasing.”
