Reported by Bloomberg, this surge in donations marks the campaign's most successful 24-hour fundraising period yet, according to campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez.

According to NBC News, the campaign saw unprecedented ground-level fundraising in the past four months, with the president's speech to Congress triggering a new online hourly fundraising record for three consecutive hours.

This fundraising milestone is particularly noteworthy as it surpasses the over $42 million raised by Biden's campaign and Democratic party affiliates throughout January.

President Biden's hour-long Congress address, where he openly criticized election rival Donald Trump, acted as an informal kick-off to his campaign, especially after Trump advanced in the Republican nomination process on "Super Tuesday."

It's been revealed that Biden's campaign is introducing a new TV advertisement that playfully comments on his age as part of his larger $30 million ad campaign.

Previously, Biden hesitated to commit to a debate with Trump, stating that his participation would depend on his opponent's actions.

Following Nikki Haley's withdrawal from the Republican presidential nomination race, Biden appealed to her supporters to back his candidacy, intensifying the election battle.
