In a recent visit to China, Russian President Vladimir Putin took a jab at U.S. President Joe Biden's assertion that Russia has "already lost" the war in Ukraine.

During a forum in Beijing's Great Hall of the People, Putin questioned Biden's claim, stating,

"If the war is lost, what are we talking about?"

He then humorously suggested that Biden should "take back the ATACMS and all other weapons, sit down for pancakes, and come to us for tea."

The Russian leader's comments came as he was the guest of honor at an event marking the tenth anniversary of China's Belt and Road initiative. Putin's visit aimed to strengthen Russia's ties with China, emphasizing "common threats" that are bringing the two nations closer.

Putin's remarks add another layer to the already complex relationship between Russia and the United States, particularly in the context of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

His comments also serve as a reminder of Russia's growing alliance with China, a relationship that has implications for global geopolitics.
