A recent Russian missile attack on an industrial site in Kharkiv has claimed seven lives, with more casualties reported.

The death toll from a Russian missile strike on an enterprise in Kharkiv has risen to seven, according to Oleg Synegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

Synegubov shared the update and photos from the attack site on Telegram.

Details of the Attack

"Consequences of a massive Russian missile attack on the Osnovyanskyi district of Kharkiv. According to updated information, as of now - 7 dead," Synegubov wrote.

The attack consisted of nine strikes, targeting the Kholodnohirskyi and Osnovyanskyi districts. At the time of the missile strikes, over 50 workers were present at the printing company that was hit.

"One strike was directly on the workshop where people were working, the dead were in the epicenter of the strike. Two more rockets hit near the enterprise," Synegubov detailed.

Civilian Impact

The attack on May 23 saw approximately 15 strikes on Kharkiv and its surrounding regions.

Initial reports indicated six dead and 16 wounded at the printing enterprise, where a large-scale fire broke out in a paper shop.

Additionally, the Russian military bombed the village of Zolochiv in the Bogodukhiv district, injuring two people and destroying a kindergarten and houses.

The town of Lubotyn in the Kharkiv district also suffered bombings, with two people receiving medical assistance.
