Speaking in Kentucky, Trump told a stunned crowd that former civil servants now have spouses who are “almost violent in their love.”

The more President Donald Trump delivers his “midterm battleground blitz speeches,” the weirder his rants become.

This weekend was no different when he spoke in Kentucky to try to prop up the Republican candidates in the state.

Once again, the speech revolved around Trump and his accomplishments — even those that have cost a lot of American men their jobs. But do not worry; their wives are much happier because of it.

‘They get much more turned on’

Trump’s speech suddenly turned sexual when he began to talk about the hundreds of thousands of federal workers he laid off at the start of his second term as president.

“Many of these people have gone out, gotten private sector jobs, a job they like much more. Their wife likes them much more, or their husband. They get much more turned on by the fact the husband has a better job. They become almost violent in their love,” Trump said to scattered laughs from the befuddled crowd.

To give some background, Trump leaned on the conservative “Project 2025” doctrine to shrink agencies, increase presidential power, and replace civil servants with MAGA loyalists.

The Trump administration then tapped billionaire Elon Musk to create the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to optimize the federal government and carry out mass layoffs.

The New York Times estimates that a total of 300,000 federal employees were laid off last year. But according to Trump, they are now in a much more vibrant relationship with their wives because of it.

‘I already won’

This snippet from Trump’s speech in Kentucky was not the only interesting thing he said. He also laid the groundwork to argue that he is not to be blamed if the current surveys are correct and the Republican Party is in for a disastrous midterm election.

“I don’t need to do this. I already won. Somebody said ‘good luck with the election.’ I said, ‘No, I already won.’ I don’t need to do this,” Trump said to a stunned crowd.

Even though Trump is delivering all these speeches in battleground states to try to salvage his candidates’ elections, he is still signaling to his crowd and supporters that it will not be his fault if a blue wave arrives in two weeks amid inflation, high fuel prices, and a costly war.
