U.S. President Donald Trump lashed out at Time magazine on Tuesday over the image chosen for its latest cover.
“Something floating that looks like a crown”

“Time wrote a relatively good article about me, but this photo might be the worst ever,” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social.
“They ‘erased’ my hair and put something floating on my head that looks like a crown, but extremely small. Very strange!”
Taken from a low angle

Trump complained that the photograph — taken from a low angle — distorted his features and made his famous hairstyle appear washed out by lighting effects.
“I never liked being photographed from below,” he added. “This image is very bad — what am I doing and why?”

Trump had traveled to Israel and Egypt earlier this week, where he addressed the Knesset (Israel’s parliament), met with families of hostages, and co-chaired the Peace Summit in Cairo.
“We have accomplished a lot in Israel and Egypt,” Trump wrote in a separate Truth Social post. “A lot of work, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience!”
“PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST!”

He continued:
“Now all these great countries that have fought so long and hard for the region must come together and GET TO WORK! Gaza is just one part. The most important part is: PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST!”

Trump’s irritation with Time’s photo choice is the latest chapter in his long history of feuding with media portrayals.
According to Digi24, he has previously criticized outlets for unflattering coverage or images — including when Time once depicted him as melting into Vladimir Putin on its cover, and when The Economist portrayed him as a storm.
Despite his complaint, Trump did acknowledge that the accompanying article was “relatively good”, focusing on his diplomatic success rather than controversy.
