Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, leader of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Group of Forces, shared that Ukrainian forces have solidified their hold on new defense lines along the Avdiivka sector in Donetsk Oblast.

Despite facing 26 air raids, 33 assaults, and over 800 artillery attacks within a 24-hour period, Ukrainian soldiers managed to repel five Russian advances near Novobakhmutivka, Lastochkyno, and Pervomaiske.

Tarnavskyi stated, "Ukrainian troops have consolidated their positions on new defensive lines in the area, successfully repelling Russian attempts to advance further."

Continuous Defense and Russian Setbacks

Ukrainian units also maintained their ground against Russian forces near Heorhiivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka on the Marinka front, with 18 Russian attempts to break through, all supported by aircraft.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, near the village of Robotyne, Ukrainian defenders countered 10 Russian attacks, effectively stopping small assault groups supported by armoured vehicles.

In the last 24 hours, the Tavria OSGF noted major Russian losses: 624 soldiers, 4 tanks, 21 armored vehicles, and other military hardware.

Ukrainian forces also struck a Russian ammo depot and took down 239 drones.
