Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in his ongoing diplomatic efforts, reached out to the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, with an invitation to participate in the upcoming Global Peace Summit.

This move underlines Ukraine's commitment to fostering global cooperation and stability.

During their phone conversation, Zelenskyy emphasized the significance of the Gulf countries' perspectives in the peace-building process.

The invitation extended to Kuwait to send a representative to the next advisers' meeting in Davos, and their involvement in the preparation for the Global Peace Summit, highlights the inclusive approach Ukraine is adopting.

President Zelenskyy expressed gratitude for Kuwait's support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, particularly noting Kuwait's affirmative stance in key Ukrainian resolutions at the United Nations and assistance with power generators.

Discussions also delved into prospective bilateral cooperation in energy and agriculture sectors, showcasing a forward-looking approach to strengthening ties.

In his commitment to restoring peace and ensuring maritime freedom in the Black Sea, Zelenskyy reinforced Ukraine's role as a guarantor of global food security. '

This stance was further discussed in a subsequent phone conversation with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, marking a historic first in the bilateral relations between the two countries.

With Bahrain, the focus was also on bolstering bilateral relations and supporting Ukraine’s Peace Formula, reflecting Ukraine's dedication to a multi-faceted diplomatic engagement. The inclusion of diverse global players in these dialogues illustrates Ukraine's determination to foster a collective approach to peace and stability.
