Germany tightens borders

Interior Minister of Germany, Alexander Dobrindt, wednesday issued an order to tighten the German borders – specifically rejecting undocumentet migrants, including asylum seekers.

German newspaper Bild was the first to report the news, saying that Dobrindt insisted the change in policy is an “issue about clarity, consistency and control”.
Reversing Merkels orders

A 2015 instruction given by then-chancellor Angela Merkel allowed for undocumented migrants to enter Germany in an effort to reduce illegal migration. Merkels term was definded by mass-arrival of asylum seekers, especially Syrians fleeing the war in Syria.
