Arsenal’s preparations for the 2025-26 season are set to begin in early July, with most of the squad reporting for duty in the coming weeks. After routine tests and training, the Gunners will travel to La Manga in southern Spain for a five-day training camp.

This trip, confirmed earlier this year by manager Mikel Arteta, follows a similar model from last summer where the squad spent time together before international players rejoined. Arteta emphasised the importance of these camps for conditioning and team unity, calling them a necessity in modern football.

Fixtures in Singapore and Hong Kong Headline Arsenal’s Summer Tour

Following their time in Spain, Arsenal will fly to Singapore for the official start of their pre-season tour. Two high-profile fixtures have already been confirmed for the National Stadium in Kallang. Arsenal will face AC Milan on Wednesday, July 23 and Newcastle United on Sunday, July 27.

The Gunners will then continue their Asian tour by travelling to Hong Kong, where they will meet Tottenham Hotspur in a north London derby on Thursday, July 31. The match will take place at the new 50,000-capacity Kai Tak Stadium, promising a significant moment in Arsenal’s pre-season calendar.

Arteta Eyes Four-Trophy Push With Busy Summer Ahead

With the transfer window open and Arsenal aiming to compete across all competitions, the summer break will be a critical period. Arteta and newly appointed sporting director Andrea Berta are working to strengthen the squad further, with potential high-profile arrivals and exits anticipated in the coming weeks.

This pre-season schedule will provide a vital platform for integrating new signings, building match fitness and sharpening tactical cohesion ahead of what promises to be a demanding and potentially rewarding 2025-26 campaign.
