Trump rages over China: “So much for being Mr. Nice Guy!”

According to the US President, China has violated the agreement recently made with the US.

What is happening?

US President has made a post on Truth Social, where he accuses China of violating the agreement, the two countries made two weeks ago.

What did he say?

In the post, Trump claims that Chinas was in “grave economic danger” two weeks ago due to the American tariffs imposed in Chinese made product.

He adds that it had a devastating effect on China, as factories were closing and “civil unrest” started occuring.

Trump goes on to say that when seeing what he saw happening in China and not liking it, he decided to make a fast deal with China.

The purpose of the deal was to “save them (China) from a very bad situation”.

The bad news

According to Trump, this was the good news, but the bad news is, that China has “totally violated the agreement with us”, as the President puts it, adding:

“So much for being Mr. Nice Guy!”

The 90-day hiatus

The “fast deal”, that Trumps is referring to, whas put in place two weeks ago, when China and the US agreed to halt the tariffs between the two economies for 90 days.

Unclear, what he means

The thing is, that it is not clear what part of the agreement, Trump seems to think that China has violated.

Negotiations has stalled

In an interview on FOX, the United States Secretary of the Treasury, Scott Bessent, said Thursday that the negotiations between the US and China has stalled.
