A wounded soldier saved by robot

A Ukrainian soldier was evacuated with the help of a ground robot, for the first time on the frontlines.

He had been crawling toward Ukrainian lines for three days before the machine carried him to safety.

They evacuated a wounded soldier who had been crawling toward Ukrainian positions for three days.

“A rush of adrenaline”

The operator, who rescued the injured soldier goes has the call sign “Tanchyk”.

He described the tense rescue-situation in an interview.

“There was a rush of adrenaline, because you realize now you are not carrying 20 packs of water, but a person,” he said.
