Has Putin’s envoy lost his marbles? Begs aliens to convince Starmer to resign

The Russian envoy added that visitors would not need to kidnap or probe the prime minister.

International diplomacy often involves subtle negotiation and carefully worded statements.

Sometimes, however, geopolitical rivalries take a turn so bizarre that observers are left scratching their heads. A prominent foreign official has just raised the stakes of political trolling to a cosmic level.

An out-of-this-world request

A top Russian official has turned to the skies to solve a political dispute in London. Kirill Dmitriev, a special representative for Vladimir Putin, recently used social media to demand a leadership change in the United Kingdom.

Instead of targeting voters, he directed his message at extraterrestrial life.

Writing on X, Dmitriev made an unusual appeal to any beings watching Earth.

“Dear aliens, as you prepare for contact with humanity, please show your omnipotence and kindness by convincing Keir Starmer to resign,” he wrote, according to Digi24.

The Russian envoy added that visitors would not need to kidnap or probe the prime minister.

According to the Digi24 report, Dmitriev claimed they just need to convey the people’s opinion to him and explain that his resignation could “give hope to Western civilization.”

Rising domestic pressure

This cosmic trolling comes at a highly sensitive time for London. Belfast has been rocked by intense protests. Dmitriev has frequently seized on these domestic struggles, previously labeling the prime minister a warmonger.

The Russian diplomat also serves as a crucial negotiator with the United States regarding the Ukraine war.

Despite his high-stakes role, he has spent months mocking political instability in Britain. He even joked that the prime minister had united Earth and alien civilizations against him.

While the extraterrestrial remarks are satirical, the political heat under the prime minister is very real. Following a heavy defeat in local elections, four parliamentary secretaries quit their posts and demanded a change at the top.

Fighting for survival

The British leader has firmly rejected all calls to step aside. Addressing the backlash, he stood his ground.

“I am not going to shirk this responsibility and throw the country into chaos,” the prime minister stated, according to Digi24.

The current political reality marks a steep drop from his initial success. Back in 2024, the Labour Party swept into office with a massive haul of 411 parliamentary seats. Now, public support has completely collapsed.

Data from Politico reveals that Labour has plunged to a dismal 17 percent of support. They now trail behind both Reform UK at 25 percent and the Conservatives at 18 percent.
