The Vidzeme District Court in Latvia has sentenced pro-Kremlin activist Elena Kreile to one year in prison for justifying genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity and peace, according to “Nastoyastchee vremya,” as reported by Ukrinform.
Kreile was found guilty of endorsing Russian aggression against Ukraine by using symbols such as the letter Z, which represents Russian military actions.
She also openly supported the Russian invasion and frequently organized provocative events.
