Vladimir Putin’s leading TV mouthpiece, Vladimir Solovyov, issued a fresh threat against the UK.
He suggested using Russia’s Poseidon nuclear torpedo to unleash a tidal wave over Britain.
The warning came just two days after Putin said he had no desire to attack anyone.

“A good idea, for testing Poseidon [a Russian high-speed underwater nuclear torpedo] – Britain,” he said.
He framed it as payback for London’s role in leading Western support for Ukraine.

In the same tirade, Solovyov threatened Japan with a “Chinese analogue” of Poseidon.
“For testing the Chinese analogue of Poseidon [attack] Japan,” he declared.
The rhetoric widened the target set beyond Europe, amplifying nuclear sabre-rattling in Asia.

Solovyov also called to erase NATO members Latvia and Estonia.
He claimed that Ukrainian drones were launched from their territory.

The threats jarred with Putin’s recent public stance.
