On June 26, Ukrainian partisans, in coordination with the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (HUR), destroyed a railway line used by Russian forces to transport military cargo.
The explosion paralyzed traffic for over a week.
Despite Russian efforts to restore the damaged section and resume transport on July 1, Ukrainian partisans struck again, disabling a Russian locomotive shortly after it entered the repaired segment, once again blocking a key supply route for Russian forces in the region.

The operation, conducted by Ukraine’s special unit “Kabul 9” in coordination with other units, disabled the locomotive and ignited at least 11 fuel tank cars.
Aerial footage captured by HUR shows flames and thick black smoke billowing from the site, with smoke visible up to 20 kilometers away.
These coordinated attacks have severely damaged railway infrastructure, disrupting Russian military logistics in the region. Petro Andriushchenko, head of the Center for Occupation Studies, confirmed that the rail line would remain out of service for several weeks.
Ongoing Resistance Efforts
The recent sabotage operations are part of a broader campaign by Ukrainian resistance groups to disrupt Russian military logistics in occupied territories.
The Atesh partisan group has previously claimed responsibility for similar attacks on railway lines in the region, aiming to hinder the movement of Russian troops and supplies.
