Russian Officer Reportedly Killed by His Own Troops

Colonel Yevgeny Borisovich Ladnov, a notorious Russian tank commander, was allegedly shot by his own soldiers in Ukraine after threatening their lives and families.

Though the Russian military claimed he died in artillery fire, a former subordinate has come forward with a very different story.

The Rise of the “Butcher Commander”

Ladnov led Russia’s 19th Tank Regiment and gained a dark reputation for brutal treatment of his own men.

According to Express Troops referred to him as the “butcher commander” for allegedly sending waves of soldiers to die in hopeless assaults with little regard for human life.

A junior sergeant named Andrey Perevoshchikov claims Ladnov was executed by his troops after a chilling speech.

He says the colonel mocked them for still being alive and promised to “destroy” the unit.

He also reportedly said he would deliver death notices personally, then “sleep with their wives.”

“You’re Just a Number to Me”

Perevoshchikov posted a video online describing the colonel’s rant: “The more of you die, the more medals I get,”

Ladnov allegedly said. “You are not meat to me, you are just a number.”

The claims suggest a deep collapse in discipline and morale inside the Russian military.

A Corrupt and Deadly Command

Further allegations from a female army medic add another layer of horror.

She claims soldiers were “sold like football players” for slaughter. Ladnov and his officers allegedly ran a scheme where they profited from the deaths of their own troops.

Soldiers Left to Rot on the Battlefield

According to the medic, wounded soldiers were deliberately left behind to die.

This ensured the army wouldn’t have to pay them compensation.

Instead of marking them as killed or injured, officers listed them as “missing,” allowing commanders to pocket the money.

A Deadly Cover-Up for Profit

The medic also claimed salaries and death benefits meant for families were split among senior officers.

“The money was distributed between Ladnov and his henchmen,” she said.

The accusations paint a disturbing picture of greed, cruelty, and corruption in Ladnov’s command.

The Russian Army’s Morale Crisis Deepens

While Moscow maintains Ladnov was killed by enemy fire, the growing number of insider accounts suggests otherwise.
