Minnis has renounced Britain completely,

He Got a Medal for It

Aiden Minnis, a 38-year-old from Chippenham, has sparked national outrage after bragging about winning a Russian medal for “wiping out” Ukrainians.

Now a stormtrooper in Putin’s army, he claims he’s proud to fight and die for Russia.

From British Criminal to Putin’s Soldier

Before fleeing to Russia, Minnis had a long rap sheet in the UK, including time in prison for a violent, racist attack.

He later joined the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, first working as a sapper laying explosives and landmines.

Suvorov Medal for “Eliminating the Enemy”

Minnis recently received the prestigious Suvorov Medal, a Russian honour awarded for combat bravery.

He told the Mirror he earned it for “killing numerous Ukrainians” and vowed to collect more medals for “eliminating Nazis.”

“I Hate the UK” – Minnis Pledges Loyalty to Putin

Now a Russian citizen, Minnis has renounced Britain completely, calling it a “fascist state” and declaring his admiration for Vladimir Putin, whom he labelled “the greatest politician on earth.”

He’s even married a Russian woman and bought a home there.

Life in the Trenches: “No Day Is Safe”

In chilling detail, Minnis described life on the frontlines, where he’s involved in trench assaults, clearing enemy positions, and enduring relentless drone and artillery attacks.

“You can’t relax here. Even resting is dangerous,” he said.

Wounded but Unrepentant

Minnis was injured last year by a kamikaze drone that shattered his leg and left him with multiple shrapnel wounds.

Despite months in hospital, he insists the fight is “worth it” and remains committed to the Russian war effort.

Family and Friends Disown Him

His decision to fight for Russia has cost him everything back home.

Minnis says his parents and former friends want “nothing to do with him.” He claims, “At least now I know who my real friends are.”

“Russia Gave Me Everything”

Minnis paints a romantic picture of his new life in Russia: citizenship, a wife, a home and “freedom” he says he never had in Britain.

“No matter how hard the fighting, I’m indebted to Russia,” he told reporters.

A Legacy of Violence

Even before Ukraine, Minnis had a history of thuggery. In 2008, he was jailed for smashing a man’s head with a bottle in a racist attack.

He later committed armed robbery and assaulted a homeless man, according to UK court records.

More British Fighters Exposed

Minnis isn’t alone. Another Brit, Ben Stimson from Oldham, is also believed to be fighting for Russia.

Both men were previously outed in a Mirror investigation and face potential terror charges if they return to the UK.

British Military Calls Them “Disgraceful Traitors”

Former British Army commander Colonel Richard Kemp didn’t mince words. “These two are an absolute disgrace,” he said.

“They are traitors who should be jailed on return. They clearly don’t know who the enemy is.”
