In a shocking revelation, a suicide note from the gunman responsible for the tragic mass shooting at a Prague university has been discovered.

The student, identified as 24-year-old David K. confessed to the earlier murders of a two-month-old baby and her father.

This confession was made public by the police, shedding light on the events leading up to the Czech Republic’s worst mass shooting on December 21.

“I can confirm we secured a letter where the perpetrator wrote that he committed the murders. The contents of the document cannot be made public at this time due to the ongoing investigation" Czech police states according to Idnes.

A Rampage of Unprecedented Scale

David K. rampage at the university resulted in the deaths of 14 people. In a terrifying spree that lasted 30 minutes, he fired from a rooftop balcony, injuring an additional 25 individuals before ultimately turning the gun on himself as armed police converged on the scene.

The police have confirmed that David K. also killed his father, bringing his total number of victims to 17.

Investigation and Motives

Investigators are still working to uncover the motives behind David K. heinous acts. A police spokesperson stated,

“We secured a letter where the perpetrator wrote that he committed the murders. The contents of the document cannot be made public at this time due to the ongoing investigation.”

A Disturbing Background

A video from the scene of the attack portrays a chilling image of David K. a history student, moving around a rooftop at Charles University.

Reports suggest that he had harbored fantasies about “becoming a maniac,” a disturbing insight into his mindset prior to the attack.
